Tips for Tuesday
Health & Personal:
To cut back on calories, use smaller dishes so that your plate looks full with less food on it.
Go to a "student" school to save money on services such as, optical, dental, salon, massage, etc.
Nail polish remover takes gum out of hair.
Treat a bee sting, by removing the stinger and applying meat tenderizer.
Use vegetable shortening to clean mechanical grease off your hands.
Household:
Use salt or baking soda to put out a small fire.
When cleaning windows do the outside in vertical strokes and the inside with horizontal strokes. It's easier to see where the streaks are.
Rub a white candle in the corners of windowsills to keep them dust free.
Sharpen scissors by cutting fine grain sandpaper.
Kitchen:
Clean your refrigerator coils to save energy by helping it run more efficiently.
Use a powder puff to dust flour on cake pans, rolling pins, etc. Less mess, less waste.
Spray your storage bowls with cooking spray before pouring in a tomato based food. Stains be gone!!!
Add a teaspoon of baking soda to dish water to cut grease while softening hands.
