Valassis has pulled their RedPlum coupon inserts from major cities in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Utah, Virginia, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, Maryland, and Texas.
Want to help change their minds? BringBackTheCoupons.com tells the story and gives a list of companies with coupons in the Red Plum insert that you can email. I emailed several and heard back from most fairly quickly. Some were not so nice, but others said they had been receiving alot of complaints about the issue and were working on solutions. Almost every company sent me coupons in the mail to help. The website offers a sample form letter that you can use for emailing the sponsors. If everyone voices their disappointments maybe we can change Valassis' mind!!!

I've still been getting mine in our bigger paper but who knows which city will be next! Glad to hear you did get some coupons from manufacturer's out of it! :)
