We are HUGE cereal eaters in this household. We all love cereal, even the healthy stuff. I'll even admit that 3 or 4 times a month we have cereal night, where we eat cereal and fruit for supper. So I was thrilled when I was contacted by MyBlogSpark to test out the new Trix Swirls.
The Swirls are a limited edition of Trix, that has "2 FRUITY colors in every puff!" There's Berry Berry Blue, Rasporangey Orange and Lemony Green, and yep, they're as delicious as they sound. Now I have to say, that I do limit our cereal intake to the healthier varieties, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the Trix Swirls has only the same amount of sugar as one of our favorites, Frosted Mini Wheats. Besides also having General Mills' Whole Grain Guarantee, one serving contains 25% of the daily recommendations of Calcium and Vitamin D. The fiber isn't really that great at only 1 g, so I'd definitely pair it with some fruit, but all in all, not too shabby!
