I cannot seem to commit to using coupons. Every time I look through my coupon ads requires me to go to three different stores, I don't even like going to one but I have to. Then I get lots of coupons for stuff I don't usually buy so I don't bother. Is there an easier or more efficient way to get coupons I can use at one grocery story?

Yira, One good thing about Walmart is that they price match other store's sale ads. I live in a small community so it's easier for me to go to more places because I combine a store trip with picking my son up from school. I try not to have to go to different stores all on the same day because I'd get burnt out. If your stores aren't close, you need to figure out if the time and gas is worth the grocery savings. The only bad thing about just going to one store is you miss out on Kroger's doubled coupons, CVS's Extra Care Bucks, Target's store coupons that can be combined with manufacturer's coupons, and Walgreens' rebates. One thing you might try is to see which stores are offering the best deals that week and make that your one stop. (Walmart deals weren't that great this week, so I went to Kroger for stock up items and Aldi for staples.)
As for coupons, I didn't see their value until about 6 months ago, myself. I always just figured that buying generic was cheaper, but it's not if you combine sales, store coupons, and manufacturer's coupons. Once I learned that, I saw a drop in our grocery budget, and we were able to get small treats that we couldn't afford before (check out the Toaster Strudel deal on my Kroger post). I no longer have specific brands I buy so that I can get the best prices with the coupons I have. It does take time to clip and file, but between the savings and the stockpiling (for when things aren't on sale or during a lean financial month) it's worth the effort. As for the drugstores, I get almost all of our personal and home care items very cheap and alot of times free, so for us it's worth the effort on that, too. I'm hoping that the store deals I list are helping people cut down on their planning time, so they can see what's on sale and has available coupons without having to hunt for themselves. Good luck!
